Eurovision nightGot myself some ice cream and will be making myself compfy on the sofa so I'm ready for the big, glittery, horrible music, camp, pointless politics, drama that is eurovision. It never disappoints me.

Sadly I will be alone for this one. Matt had to do a concert he didn't want to do, so I will be live tweeting (humonlazydiva) my impression of the whole shebang.

The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.

rant ahead lolz so sorry to sound betchy here D:

Seriously guys I hate I always have to put warning and be wary of what I post on here. Come on tolerance peeps. Need I even MENTION the Sheik artwork? Honestly it's always bothered me how little people seem to be when it comes to looking at author's comments. B: I hate to spend such a long time and effort on a picture just to see people want to squabble/pick a fight. Honest I just want peace again I stress keep your mouth shut if you don't like the picture (unless it's breaking the rules then report it)

Aw well I have pretty much nothing new to submit in the meanwhile here except doodles/commissions. I think the ecchi will be on a longer hold. By how you people react to my boobs compared to my yaois it's almost to point I don't even WANT to post ecchi here. and it irks me how so many people suck up to me--oh yeah I'm ONLY a good artist when I draw your fap material huh B:

I been holding this in for a looong time and I just want to let it out now but not aimed at one specific person and if you're offended--tough tits.

I must mention this--I reeeeeally need to warn people/let them know that in this account--I LIKE to draw whatever I want--I don't do fan demand at all so don't flatter yourselves. I used to have that problem with people complaining about my naughty art, or my shipping art, or even just the way I portray a character. Like you, I ended up having to create a side account for my naughty art, because I just don't have the right crown on this account.

So yeah, don't let anyone bring you down. Do whatever makes you happy.

Well, as you get more popular and seen more, you're going to run into folks who have varying opinions. You're just going to run into that, if you put a piece in the public eye, they are going to comment on it, regardless of warnings.

As for the ecchi/yaoi response, don't worry about the response you get from folks. I know you want to draw a variety of thing, so DRAW IT! I just hope you don't fall into a problem of doing art to please your watchers, do it for yourself.
